Tim Hutchinson’s  ’73 Barracuda, powered by a 383 stroked to 484, made 476 hp at the rear wheels on motor alone. It made more than 600 with a nitrous shot.

The budget-built Thrifty 350 pulls to 417 hp at 6,100 rpm and 386 lb-ft of torque at 4,300 rpm during an engine dyno run.
