After several months of one of the coldest, snowiest winters in recent memory, car nuts from throughout the Midwest came out of hibernation Feb. 6-8 and converged on the River Centre in St. Paul for the World of Wheels show.
From big-buck customs to immaculately restored muscle cars to home-built traditional rods, the field was diverse. A few celebrity cars – Chip Foose’s P32 rod, the Speed Racer Mach 5 and the original and new KITT from Knight Rider – were also on display.
For those who care about the hardware, Gordon Peters’ ‘56 Chevy Handiman took the Bob Hall Memorial Award and John Pasik’s ‘56 Chevy two-door won the Minnesota’s Finest Award.
If you missed the show, check out the photos for some highlights.
