Rain and severe weather are becoming the norm this car-show season.
The Halverson’s Lemans was restored in 2000 and now wears 1966 Montero Red rather than the factory Platinum, but the car still sports its numbers-matching 326 and Super Turbine 300 transmission.
It was a rough day for anything outdoors, but enthusiasts from across the automotive hobby and the state drove their cars through the rain May 22 to take part in the Frankensteiners Spring Meltdown at Broadway Pizza in Elk River.
